Overland transport across Europe and Turkey

For Europe, road freight is usually the most direct option: the cargo does not wait for a vessel, and it is not held to the weight and packaging limits that air freight imposes. Kanga Services runs road transport throughout Europe with weekly departures, for part loads and for full loads alike.

We also run road transport to and from Turkey, a lane asked for both by companies importing and exporting goods and by private customers relocating, and one where the road is almost always the practical choice.

What we carry by road

• Personal effects and household goods, for a full move or for part of your belongings.

• Merchandise, pallets and samples, for export and equally for import into Greece.

• Student shipments to and from European university cities, at special student rates. See also our E.S.T.S. service.

How it works

We collect from your address, or you can bring the cargo to our warehouse. Delivery is door to door at the consignee’s address, or from the warehouse at destination, whichever suits you.

Before loading we handle packing and crating with professional materials, and the palletising of the goods being sent. Palletising is not a formality: a properly strapped and wrapped load is handled once, as a single unit, instead of being moved carton by carton at every point along the route.

We arrange insurance for your goods under Clause A, the widest of the standard cargo covers. We will explain what it covers and what it excludes for your particular consignment before departure.

For countries outside the European Union, such as Turkey, customs formalities are required on both sides of the border. Our own customs brokers take care of them, so you do not need to find a separate agent.
