Sending olive oil and Greek foods to Australia

We ship olive oil to Australia in whatever it comes in. The 17.5 kg tin is the format we handle most, but smaller tins and bottles travel just as well, and we have built crates around clay jars to get them there whole. Everything is repacked by us for the journey, with regular consignments to Melbourne and Sydney. Whether you are sending oil from the family grove to relatives or exporting it for sale, the process and the paperwork differ - call us on +30 210 64 66 400 and we will tell you what applies to your consignment.

What we ship on this lane

  • Olive oil in tins, bottles or jars - 17.5 kg tins most often, repacked into cartons we prepare ourselves, and a timber crate built to fit where the container is the awkward part.
  • Regular consignments to Melbourne and Sydney.
  • Other Greek foods and local products - the rules differ by product and by whether the shipment is for personal use or for sale.
  • Customs clearance, by our own brokers.

Australian biosecurity rules decide what may enter and in what condition. We check them for every consignment at the time of shipping.

From our own loadings

  • A clay amphora packed inside a wooden crate built to fit it.
  • A clay jar inside a wooden crate at our premises, ready to load.
  • A clay jar wrapped in bubble wrap and Kanga Services tape.
  • Two bundles of olive oil, wrapped and labelled FRAGILE - OLIVE OIL.
